1. What this page is about
A cookie is a small note a site leaves on your own device so that it can remember something the next time you open it. Tidewater Tailoring's site keeps very little: your answer to the cookie question and, while measurement is on, two random ids that let it count visits. This page says what each one is, how long it stays and how to turn measurement off.
2. What this site keeps on your device
- Your cookie choice, stored on your device under the name cadrillo.consent. It holds what you chose and when, and nothing that says who you are. It is kept for 12 months, and then you are asked again.
- A visitor id and a visit id, stored under the names lens_vid and lens_visit, only while measurement is on. Both are random. The visitor id tells a returning visit from a first one. The visit id groups the pages you open into one visit and starts again after 30 minutes without activity. Both stay until you clear this site's data in your browser, and choosing Decline removes them.
All three live in your browser's local storage, which this page covers in the same way as cookies.
3. How visits are measured
Tidewater Tailoring's site measures how its pages are used, so Audit Tester can see what works and fix what does not. The measurement is run for Audit Tester by Get Creative, which acts on Audit Tester's instructions. It runs only on the published site at its own web address; a preview of the site is never measured.
- What it records. The pages you open, where you click or tap, how far you scroll, which parts of a page were on screen and for how long, how quickly the page loaded, errors on the page, and a replay of how the page looked and moved during your visit.
- Typing is masked. What you type into a form is never recorded. The replay shows the field without its contents.
- Replays are deleted after 90 days.
- Visitors in Europe are asked first. If your device is set to a European time zone, nothing is kept on your device and no replay is recorded until you choose Accept. Until then the site counts only anonymous facts about the page you are on, such as how far it was scrolled and how quickly it loaded. Everywhere else, measurement is on when the page opens.
- Decline turns it off. Choosing Decline stops the replay, removes the two ids and keeps the measurement from loading on the pages you open after that.
- Global Privacy Control turns it off. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, the measurement does not load at all.
- A visit is linked to you only after you send a form. If you send a form on the site that asks for your email address, the visit is linked to a one-way scrambled copy of that address (a hash), so Audit Tester can tell which visits led to a message. Nothing links a visit to you before you send a form, and nothing does if you chose Decline.
4. What this site does not use
- Marketing: not used on this site. Nothing here builds a picture of you for advertising, and nothing is handed to an advertiser.
If that ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top says when it last did.
5. Changing your mind
There is a Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. Opening it brings the question back, and what you choose replaces the answer already stored. Clearing your browser's data for this site removes everything this page describes.
6. Asking about it
Anything about this page, or about what Audit Tester holds about you, goes to phauditmusysj1a@maxxspace.com. To have the measurement of your visits deleted, write to that address. Get Creative, which runs the measurement for Audit Tester, can be reached at support@get-creative.co.
